A contact and stomach insecticide that is rapidly absorbed by the plant and rapidly translocated from the bottom up through the plant tissues, with a systemic effect via the roots.
It controls sucking insects, leafhoppers, aphids, thrips, whiteflies, soil insects, termites, and some insect groups such as the rice weevil and Chlorodex beetle. It is used as a foliar spray and in soil and seed treatments.
